Production of educational video to encourage vaccination against Covid-19

The objective of this study was to report the experience of producing an educational video to encourage vaccination against COVID-19. This is an experience report on the production of an educational video, originating from a university extension project in health. Three phases were followed: pre-production: writing the script, storyboard and evaluation of expertise; production: recording the video; post-production: editing and publishing. The product was a video, entitled “And the vaccines against COVID-19, huh?”, lasting ten minutes and eighteen seconds. In this video, an online meeting between friends was simulated, in which they discussed vaccines against COVID-19. The video was published on Instagram and on a YouTube channel. The video contributed to the provision of reliable, scientifically based, easy-to-understand and accessible information to the general population, regarding questions related to vaccination against COVID-19, during the peak of the second wave of contamination in the country.
