Paulo Freire, meu mentor revolucionário

Resumo

O brasileiro Paulo Freire é, sem dúvida, um dos mais estimados pensadores da educação do século XX. No entanto, na Finlândia, meu país natal, a influência de Freire na pesquisa e políticas educacionais tem sido relativamente marginal. No entanto, de uma perspectiva micro‐histórica, o espírito de Paulo Freire tem guiado o meu trabalho acadêmico e o de outros, às margens das ciências sociais e educacionais na Finlândia. Neste artigo, considero a influência de Freire em minha carreira científica e avalio seu impacto geral nas ciências sociais e educacionais finlandesas.
