Abstract: The pedagogical context of special education with contribution of technological devices is a challenge that has been widening to educators and students. Therefore, this work describes the development and application of two Learning Objects (OAs) focused on students with special needs. The chosen OAs were the reading and writing, which are the most recurrent difficulties in the active inclusion of this public in their school life. This work also introduces concepts of Learning Objects and Assistive Technology, besides educational softwares focused on this theme. Finally, we highlight the use of this LOs in regular schools and specialized education classes of the "Association of Parents and Friends of Children with Special Needs" - APAE, with satisfactory results as it made possible the memorization of phonemes and graphemes by the students, considering their age group and learning difficulties. Among other aspects, we also verified the socialization of students in their real environment, as well as their interaction with the digital technologies. Keywords : Learning objects.
